mungoserver for Windows

MungoServer and its drivers have been signed so that they install and run on all versions of XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Download version 1.1 Mac server:

Installation Instructions:

  • Run setupMungoServer1.1.exe and click 'Install MungoServer'.
  • Depending upon your Windows version, you will be asked for permission to continue, and again for permission to install a Driver. You will need to agree to each step.
  • If you are asked by Windows Firewall or antivirus software, you must allow network connections to MungoServer.
  • Once installed MungoServer can be found in your Start Menu.

Instructions:

  • When run, MungoServer will offer to move itself to the applications folder.
  • MungoServer will also offer to install MungoDriver, which is needed to simulate a USB game controller.
  • If your firewall is on, when connecting for the first time you will be asked if MungoServer should accept incoming network connections. Click 'Allow'.

Windows Server:

  • When running, MungoServer has an icon in the System Tray. Left clicking the icon will show the server's window, right clicking allows you to exit. MungoServer only needs to be running when using MungoGamer, but it is small and causes no load when not in use.

Mac Server:

  • When running, MungoServer has a status icon and menu in the top right of the menu bar.
